About diagnostic into
TL Legacy, at will of the user, may send diagnostic information. Content on this page is up-to-date since the release of version 1.117.0.
Where do I find this "diagnostic information"
For simplicity, let's call them logs. You can find them in the Logger. The long text you'll see in there will be sent to s as-is.
What do we write in Logger?
Everything we might consider significant (or not so significant). For example: current time, executable location, user name in the system, configuration of the launcher and Minecraft, output of launched applications, etc.
How do I find logs?
- Open
TL - Click
Preferences – Launcher & game preferences – “Launcher” tag - Set Logger: Enabled.
- Click “Save”
- Logger window will show up
Where do we send logs?
We send into the «Pasta» service (https://pasta.tlaun.ch). This is private service. Nobody, except TL staff, is authorized to read logs.
How do we use logs?
We don't share logs with third-parties. Logs are stored only seven days after upload, but this period may be extended by administrator. You can ask us to delete your logs, if you want.
